ProCare Healing Centers provide all of its patients, caregivers and families with invaluable resources and life strategies to assist them with healing their acute and chronic wounds. We will work with you, your primary care physician, home care providers and other's involved to develop the most appropriate plan for you to heal your wounds.

Staff and Physician Education
The ProCare Advantage includes onsite training by a certified Wound, Ostomy, Continence, Hyperbaric nurse. All staff as well as physicians are required to complete the ProCare Advantage Courseware (PAC), which was created to provide individualized self paced training for each employee. This self paced learning module was created to develop and enlighten the novice wound care technician and/or nurse as well and provide a well structured, fast paced review for the wound care expert.
Most ProCare Healing Centers provide Hyperbaric Oxygen centers in conjunction with their wound care centers. The physicians, nurses and technicians are sent to hyperbaric training in San Antonio , TX . This training center is accredited by the UHMS (Undersea Hyperbaric Medical Society) and is facilitated by one of the leaders in the Hyperbarics Community, Paul J. Sheffield, PhD. Once the training has been completed, all staff are strongly encouraged to obtain their hyperbaric certifications as soon as possible.
In addition to this training, ProCare and its host hospitals' encourage ongoing training onsite, locally and or regionally. ProCare has developed a substantial library of resources available for staff and physicians that are available through our corporate offices.
